It was a very fast and dynamic game with excellent scores, which meant that each part was decided only in the last minutes. In the first part, through the Golden Goal, Netherlands gained the advantage (11-10). In the second part, Spain finished with more goals (14-16).
Both teams, as their audience, fought till the end, in a coherent game that was ultimately won by the Dutch national team. “Spain is a strong team. It was a really rough game to win but we are very happy we won”, said the Dutch coach.
